9th International Symposium
MODERN TRENDS IN LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION

THIRD COMMUNICATION
Institute for Animal Husbandry, Belgrade-Zemun will organize the 9th International Symposium “Modern Trends in Livestock production” from October 7th to 9th in Hotel Park, Belgrade, Serbia.
Full papers prepared for publication according to Instructions for authors for journal Biotechnology in Animal Husbandry (www.istocar.bg.ac.rs), should be submitted before May 31st 2009. (Papers not prepared according to Instruction for authors will not be considered). Authors, kindly, state the method of presentation of the paper – oral or poster.

Official language
Official languages of Symposium are Serbian and English. All oral presentations shall be simultaneously interpreted.
Registration fee
Registration fee is obligatory for all Symposium participants except participants with invited plenary presentations.
- Registration fee which includes: publishing of paper in journal Biotechnology in Animal Husbandry, symposium material, participation in all sessions of the symposium, cocktail, coffe/tea break, is 100 EUR. Papers shall not be published without the payment of registration fee.
- Registration fee which includes: publishing of paper in journal Biotechnology in Animal Husbandry, Symposium material, participation in all sessions of the Symposium, cocktail, coffe/tea and tourist programme, as well as lunch for all participants on the last day of Symposium, is 150 EUR.
- Deadline for payment of registration fee before July 30th 2009.
- Payment of registration fee before May 31st 2009 20% discount, i.e. 80 EUR and 120 EUR.

SECOND ANNOUNCMENT
Esteemed colleagues,
Institute for Animal Husbandry, Belgrade-Zemun is organizing traditional international symposium, “ Modern Trends in Livestock Production ”. Symposium will include following sections:
- System of breeding of domestic animals
- genetics
- breeding
- selection
- nutrition
- Production technology and quality of products
- Animal welfare and health care
- Livestock feed and ecology
- Alternative production methods in livestock production
The work of sections will be divided per animal species.
A complete program of symposium will be forwarded subsequently. For all interested researchers kindly submit your papers in form of abstract (according to instructions for authors-contributors of the journal "Biotechnology in Animal Husbandry" - www.istocar.bg.ac.yu) before January 31st 2009. A full paper should be submitted by May 30th 2009.

International Scientific Committee of the Symposium will review all submitted papers.
The Committee will select papers for oral presentations. Remaining papers will be presented in poster sessions. All papers presented on the Symposium will be published in journal “Biotechnology in Animal Husbandry”.
